Friday 3rd May Day 26

F**k it Friday, eat what I want day

Kefir, mango and passion fruit smoothie – home-made

Some Easter egg (yes we still have some left)

Meal out – Italian beef lasagne and green salad

Monk fish Thai green curry made with Master base and home-made Thai curry paste.  With brown rice and noodles left from lunch

Sunday 5th May Day 28

Pork dinner with roast potatoes, carrots and parsnip and steamed broccoli

 

F**K it Friday left me flat

I felt awful on Friday evening after eating out. The amount of sugar, dairy and gluten I had consumed sent my body crazy:

Itchy skin

Blocked nose

Wheezing

Throat closing up

Bloated stomach

I felt so bad, that I think next weeks “eat what I want day” will have to be revised to “Eat what I can without making me feel ill, day”

It is amazing how quickly the effects are on my body, with foods I’m not used to eating through the week. Within 10 minutes my legs were itching like mad!

I decided to flush all of the toxins out with 3 glasses of filtered water. That did the trick. It took a few hours to start feeling better though.

I am noticing whats happening to my body more now due to eating healthy food all week. I think I will do a blind test next week and just have gluten with no sugar or dairy. It may be that I am intolerant of all 3 allergens but I want to be sure. So next week will be a blind test. Wish me luck!
